| 生物活性：Cholesterol-d6 is a deuterium-labeled form of cholesterol, designed for use as an internal standard in the quantification of cholesterol via GC- or LC-MS. Cholesterol is a critical sterol in mammalian cells, essential for cell viability and proliferation. It is a key component of cell membranes, interacting with phospholipids, sphingolipids, and proteins to regulate membrane behavior. Cholesterol also plays a pivotal role in lipid-based drug delivery (LBDD) systems, including liposomes and lipid nanoparticles (LNPs), where it contributes to membrane stability. Additionally, it is a precursor for steroid hormones, bile acids, and the active form of vitamin D. Disruptions in cholesterol homeostasis are associated with various health conditions, such as fatty liver disease, diabetes, gallstones, dyslipidemia, atherosclerosis, heart attacks, and strokes. | |
